This is the best orthodontics in the area. Hands down ! The people are great, the service is great and the facility is very modern and high class.
I really can't say enough great things about JRO. I'm willing to drive farther for appointments because the consistently short waits, ease of appointment-scheduling, and pleasant environment are head and shoulders above the rest. Dr. Scarborough and his staff are just awesome. I was nervous about my son getting braces because he's always complaining about how the littlest things hurt him or bother him, but all of the visits have been great and they've been amazing with keeping him happy and comfortable. As always, I was taken back right at my appointment time. Ivy helped me today and was very friendly in chatting with her and also great with explaining what she was doing and why. Dr Scarborough came by, examined me and let me know how my smile was progressing. He let Ivy know of the adjustments to make and she took care of adjusting the wires and elastics. Today was the day I received my invisilign trays. The staff was extremely patient and kind. Because I have been having jaw pain, Dr. Scarborough worked out a custom plan for me to help alleviate the pain as quickly as possible.
Dr. Scarborough and his delightful team are AWESOME! Informed, positive, engaging, flexible, accommodating... they put us at ease and make us smile! Both my kids have actually said they LIKE having braces and retainers... James River Orthodontics makes the experience fun and memorable!
