Great Experience – I've been searching for the best stylist since I moved to Atlanta. I found Rexx about a year ago, and he just relocated to James Madison Salon. I've got to say that this was the best experience I have had in a salon ever. I came in late, of course, after a long day at work. The receptionist was quick to accomodate me, and even brought me a beer. Rexx gave me an amazing cut, and one of James Madison Salon's signature scalp massages. The Absolute BEST! – I've heard mixed reviews, but I decided to see the truth for myself. This salon is AMAZING and so beautiful. The staff is extremely professional and almost overly-friendly! They waited on me, hand and foot! And James is an absolute doll! He's a very creative cutter, and Kyle is by far the BEST colorist in Atlanta. I have never had such a great experience in the salon. I am BEYOND pleased!

AMAZING! – I've tried everywhere in town. James Madison Salon is the best! Kyle does great color, and James is the best cutter in town. Anyone who has bad reviews about this salon is crazy. They were amazing.
The best in Atlanta – I found James Madison through Lucky magazine. Jermiah, who now does my color, was written up as one of the best in Atlanta. It has been a wonderful experience since! I get my hair cut and colored by Chad and Jermiah. They are great! I've never been happier with my hair. The staff there is wonderful too, they always take great care of me! I highly recommend the salon.
Horrible Experience – I got my haircut by James, and it cost me a fortune, and my hair is not even. To make things worse, my experience was horrible. He left me sitting in my chair periodically in the middle of my cut. He would come back and cut a little and then leave again. I got up to use the restroom, and he was yelling profanities at one of his employees. I resuse to go back and don't recommend that anyone else bother to visit.
Best in Midtown! – I have been to my share of Atlanta salons, and James Madison Salon has continously proven to be the best. My old colorist moved there a little over two years ago, and I was impressed from day one. Beautiful location, beautiful (and pleasant!) people, and beautiful work. They even threw an anniversary party for the clients that was TO DIE FOR! I highly recommend this salon (and Gina and James--they do my hair) to anyone in the Atlanta or Midtown area.
Horrible Service – Went in to get a few (9) highlights touched up. Was told it would likely only be $70 - turned out to be $112 - she gave me more highlights than i wanted and didn't even touch up the ones in front. Not to mention the staff was snobby and did speak much. Called back to get a refund and they would only take 20% off, not to mentioned laughed when i said the last place i had my hair done was Charlotte, NC.
