I have been impressed with his knowledge as well as his bed side manner,he will take all the time needed to explain a concern or procedure. He is also very approachable and easy to talk with!! Thanks Dr. Cameron.
He's done a successful knee replacement surgery for me. He's excellent professional, knowledgable surgeon with humility & compassion that listens to his patients carefully and addresses all concerns, a rarity these days. He's one the best that there is, a great human being with great staff and nurses. I am very happy.
Dr. Cameron performed knee surgery on my 84-year old Mother. It was a very good surgery experience. He explained the process and what to expect at the 1st visit/consultation. She felt that she could ask any question, and Dr. Cameron was thoughtful and patient. Steadman Hawkins also has another question & answer group session a couple of days before surgery for surgical and after surgery information. I have been to a quite a few different orthopedic surgeons and have had many surgical procedures performed including knee, hip and shoulder replacements. Dr Cameron is, by far, the best I have experienced. He will not leave until all of your questions are answered and he explains everything until you understand the answers. The surgery he performed on me went well and healing was fast and relatively painless. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again if needed.
I am grateful that I was referred to Dr. Cameron from Dr. Folk when it was determined that I needed to have TKR. Dr. Cameron was very kind not only to me but my husband and family. He made me feel at ease & explained what I could expect during my surgery and recovery. While I was at Patewood Memorial Hospital, I found that the staff spoke very highly of Dr. Cameron. I cant say enough bout Dr. Cameron he is a wonderful,caring Dr.who cares bout his patients and is very through with his work. I have alot of health issues along with my arthritis that has me handicapped and on a Walker not being able to do for myself. He had all kinds if tests run to make sure I was able to undergo the surgery first off. Dr Cameron and his staff were all helpful and welcoming. I felt free to ask questions and participate in my treatment. I had some insurance issue and I feel everybody went beyond expectations to make sure I had my chosen doctor and hospital. Dr Cameron really listened and talked WITH me ( not at me) about the surgery, pre op, post op and the future of my knee. Everybody I came into contact with at this practice always returned calls and found answers and worked as a true team.
All of my visits have been very pleasant and informative. Dr. Cameron answers all of my questions and is very honest about the information that I need. He seems to care and has good bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is getting knee replacement surgery. I hope he stays with GHS because I am considering another knee surgery in the not so distant future. Steve Cotugno
