Been a storm of everything here at this VA.
Had my bpm on my mobile EKG heart momitor up to 150 for several minutes before it going out for over 30 minutes before anyone checked on me. Then confronted by staff escalating the situation when I questioned them about it having other staff nurses enter into my room escalating the situation more then when I told them all to leave I wanted to talk to a doctor, they did and called a code on me to get mental health and 3 cops showing up at my room. Do not come to the VA ER!! My husband waited over 3 hours for a doctor and everyone that came in behind him was seen. When I asked what was going on, I kept getting excuses after excuses. No, I do not accept that. Someone hurting their elbow is no more important than what my husband was there for. Absolutely absurd. This was our first and last time coming here. But you have to remember, you get what you pay for. Very sad and unprofessional. From now on we will go somewhere else and I’ll pay for him to be seen if I have to.
