Not a Happy Camper I have two children that attend this office, and we have seen just about all of the doctors and the Nurse Practitioners. My oldest child is ten years old and she has been going there since she was born. I have always felt welcomed and loved the staff there that is until today. My son just turned three today and my husband was taking him to his appointment. My husband was running a few minutes behind so I called to let them know only to find out that if your more than ten minutes late they will not see you.... read more
Very pleased We did not have the same experience AT ALL as the previous reviewer. My daughter is on an alternative vaccine schedule and he very respectfully discussed it with me at length when she was a baby. He never made me feel rushed and never tried to push me into anything. We worked together through out that first year and he made sure I was comfortable and informed. We love Dr. Martin and will continue to use him as long as possible.
Perhaps good for some, not good for me I think Dr. Martin is fully competent as a doctor, but has a poor interaction style. In the hospital he heavily pushed me to supplement with formula (not necessary) and seemed to search endlessly for something to pathologize (nothing was wrong, nor was there reason to believe we had problems) and in visits since then has had a strong tendency to push hard on finding something wrong and needing a medical solution. Wonderful I was assigned Dr. Martin by my insurance company without having a choice but I couldn't be happier. He has been excellent with scheduling appointments and when my son came down with jaundice due to breastfeeding issues. He was the only one that didn't discourage me from continuing, he encouraged me to seek lactation and calmed my fears while in the hospital.
