Dr. Bried replaced my hip. Before the replacement I could barely carry any weight. That was years ago and I go to the gym and play tennis three times a week. He also replaced my knee and everything went well. Only in the hospital overnight with minimal/no pain. He is so knowledgeable and cares for his patients. Great staff as well. I have referred many people to him, including my husband who has had both knees and both shoulders replaced. We obviously owe our well being to this terrific person.

I highly and gladly recommend Dr. James Bried as he has done 3 shoulder surgeries, 1 ACL, & 1 total knee replacement for me and 1 knee surgery for my daughter. Every surgery and rehab was 100% what he explained and he listens and answers all questions, and is flexible with options. His staff is competent and follows through all on aspects.

Dr Bried did both my total knee replacements (at separate times). One in 2015 and the other in 2016. I am happy to report my knees are great! Best surgery ever! I can do just about everything I could do before the injuries. Do your PT and you will be glad you had the surgery! He did a perfect job on both!

Having had bilateral total knee replacement, I am very happy with my results and look forward to a painless future in both knees. I totally recommend Dr. Bried and his experience to anyone contemplating knee surgery.

I was in excruciating pain for several months with my knee. After my surgery with Dr. Bried I was in no pain at all. I didn't need to take any pain killers! His staff are great too!

This is my third operation by Dr Bried. Hip revision and two knee replacements. Now pain free. Dr Bried has provided excellent care.

Dr. Bried skillfully repaired my severely broken collar bone and badly ripped rotater cuff to a hard to believe condition of "better than before the accident". His staff and the physical therapy department are top notch. I am greatfull for the full circle healing team.

Dr. Bried has been our orthopedic surgeon for years. Two of my kids had sports-related knee surgery 7 & 9 years ago. My daughter was able to resume running half marathons, both are snow boarders and my son surfs regulary. Last year I had a arthroscopic knee surgery and was back to work in 2 days. My right knee required a partial replacement, but I am so happy w/the outcome. Both w/ the care at Pomerado Hosp, and Dr. Bried's surgical skill.. I was up walking immediately, virtually pain free.

I highly recommend Dr. Bried. Dr. Bried did a total replacement of my right knee 15 days ago and my results have been excellent. I am walking without aid and my Physical Therapists have said I am ahead of schedule in all aspects of my recovery. I chose Dr. Bried based on my knowledge of highly regarded doctors in San Diego County, having spent 31 years in Surgical Sales. Both clinicians and patients have high praise for Dr. Bried and the outcomes he achieves with his patients.
