Dr Alford was recommended to me by my previous primary care Dr and I can understand why. Dr Alford is personable and gets to the point tactfully. He listens well and responds in a way that I feel cared for.
I met Dr. Alford, when he was working in Ann Arbor, at the time, through Dr. Chen, and compared to his associates, I find him to be the nicest guy ever, who's the 1st physician to have a military background, known for telling his awesome "military stories". He is known for making sure to take risks very seriously, yet, at the same time, being transparent is an order for patients, who need to have tender loving care, plus the more serious approach in medicine. A couple of years ago, I needed to switch doctors because of geography. I regret never giving a proper goodbye to such a forthright, caring and knowledgeable doctor, Dr. Alford. It may be a little late but I often mention him as one of the top docs. Conscientious, effective and intelligent.
