It concerns me that the dentist only checks the teeth if hygenist tells him to. I feel a dentist should have the ability to see what hygenist may miss. The flouride "swish" treatment is most unpleasant and difficult my kids and I have ever experienced. They don't give out toothbrushes because they recommend electric ones. Bothers me the most that the dentist doesn't check the teeth with each visit, even for my kids. Must pay full cost up front. Seems like the earlier review was tainted by not meeting the dentist. Fact is, Jim Snow is one of the most well-liked dentists I've ever known. I have never heard a negative comment from anyone. Perhaps you should have met him before you rate him.
Took my 2 teenage boys for first time to get xrays and cleaning. My 16 year old had xrays, and they scraped his gums (for peridonial), and did not clean his teeth. After they were both done, (2 hours later), the hygenist (never met the dentist) came and informed me they didn't clean their teeth, and to make another appointment to have that done.
