Busy on weekends, but worth it – We stopped by here on a saturday to see how long the wait was. Almost 2 hours was the reply. We put our names in and told the hostess we were going to check out the new wine bar down the street. She made a note of it and called us at the wine bar when a table was available. Best value around – Great steaks at a great price. You won't find many steakhouses with theses prices. The wait can be a little long, but with great places around to catch a drink the time flies by. Highly recommended!
Must try it. It's fantastic! – Food and wine is excellent. Usually 2 hrs wait on weekends and a little noisy but it's worth it. Very inexpensive for quality food.
Amazing Steaks – I love it here! Their steaks are awesome! And a good deal too! The service is prompt and courteous. A great place to go before a show at the Village Theater. I would definately recommend!
WOW! – Absolutly amazing this place! Small and crowded, long wait but well worth it! Very inexpensive as well. Plenty of places to go get a drink while you wait. give them your cell # and they will call you when your table is ready. You will love this place!
Absolutely the best AND worth the wait! – I cannot beleive ANYONE who says that this place is not worth the wait. Probably the only reason why you wouldn't like it is if you never read ANY reviews, or you dont pay attention you HAVE TO GET THERE EARLY. When I say early I mean as theya re opening. The BEST – Hands down, the best filet I have ever had. Ever. I always order my steak well done, which is sometimes hard to get right; they are either overcooked and burned, or still pink inside. JaK's got it PERFECT with no pink center. Delicious! The wine list was great and the Citrus Cosmo was awesome. The service was great too... our server was very friendly and effecient. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time. The wait is long... but it is worth it! Highly Recommend!
Great Value – Good steaks but not as good as those at the Met or Peter Lugar's. Of course, the bill comes to half of what you'd pay at those two places so it's a great value. Service is solid and efficient but occasionally hurried.
Worth The Wait! – I've never had a bad meal here. The best steaks around and I'll measure Jak's against The Met, Ruth's, Flemings anytime! The wait sets the mood, great drinks, crowd adds to the ambience. Small so get there early. Waits can be long.
