Jake's is my absolute favorite place to go and take out of town guests to. The food is just down home yummy, the portions are huge and their desserts are seriously slap yo Momma good! I've never once had a bad experience, the waitstaff are so friendly and "Johnny-On-The-Spot!" All this combined with a great atmosphere is why it's my abso fave!!!

We had a large group that showed up on a very busy Saturday at lunch time. After a short wait to get our tables ready, we were seated. This was a first-time visit for all of us and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a variety of foods, including kids menu orders, salads, burgers and chicken fried chicken. It was all delicious! Their fries are hand cut fries that taste wonderful! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely go back!

You have choices in life, you can choose to search near and far for the best burger ever, or save yourself a lot of time and just go to Jake's. I've not had better, and the wife raved on the pattymelt. Chip and Joanna are no longer the only reason to visit Waco!
