this is been a favorite place of mine for years but I won't be going back after hearing from a friend that they have replaced their plastic straws with paper straws and not just as a matter of principle but apparently the paper straws make all the drinks taste funny : (.... bad move for a Bakersfield Business
RecommendedDelicious tri tip and amazing garlic chicken. Portions are large enough to share. Save room for dessert. One of our favorite dinner spots!!

We love Jakes. We just moved back to Bako and this was my #1 mandatory dinner spot. Food as always was great. Lemon Cake was fantastic. Service was outstanding. Wish they would offer a 1/2 Choc-1/2 Lemon in one container).
So we all know you will NEVER find anywhere that beats Jake"s....the Chicken, HEAVEN, the cake, a no brainer....its all around Goodeats! Keep up the good work!!
