Jake's Original Tex-Mex Cafe is over priced and over rated. Sorry to burst your bubble but..... the parking is terrible, the food is expensive and just alright. I have to agree that the chocolate cake is very good though. I haven't tried everything on the menu but I think I would have found something I really liked by now, if it was going to happen. Recommend This place has fantastic taco salads. They will build them the way you like them. You can even have Fritos in them. They have a splendid chocolate cake that they are known for and you won't leave without trying it.
best chocolate cake! I love jakes! I have been going to Jake's since I moved here. When my family comes from out of town we eat there every time! I am a sweet freak and their chocolate cake is the best ever! I love it and order it whenever I am hosting events. Keep up the awesome customer service and food
Yummy!!! This is a great tex mex restaurant!!! I have family who comes in from out of town & always have to make this a stop before they leave. Their food is great and it's at a wonderful price!
barbeque Jakes has excellent food. My family brings this home often for dinner. They have good deep bit beef sandwiches, beans, salads, and many other sides. It is fairly inexpensive good food. Everything is always ready when I order it and go pick it up.
Jake's is Great We can't get enough of this place. The food is fresh and delicious - great pit bbq for sandwiches, salads or plates. They have vegetarian options as well. The Taco Salad is a good choice & you can add the pit bbq to it. Take a tray, go through line, add your sides and then pay! Easy, but delicious. Reasonably priced for the food you get. Don't forget the chocolate cake - the best thing there!!
