Dr. Alvarez did a great job from the first office visit, through the diagnosis, until the successful surgery. Herniated disk, and spinal stenosis caused pain shooting down my leg all the way to my foot. Dr. Alvarez repaired the damage and immediately after surgery all the pain was gone. Soon I was walking 3 to 4 miles a day. And now I am back to playing golf and tennis. Thanks Dr. Alvarez!
I had a great experience from the first time i contacted this office to my post op appointments. Dr Alvarez was kind and caring and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to come here again.
I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and have had numerous tests, procedures as well as three surgeries in less than six months. As such, it was essential for me to choose the best surgeon available (he’s over an hour from my home but well worth the drive). As part of my due diligence I have seen three Neurosurgeons and am thankful I was referred to Dr. Alvarez; he is clearly the surgeon for me! Thank you again Doctor for taking the time to explain everything in such detail and for your genuine compassion.
I have been told by two drs that the surgery he did on L-2 that he did not remove enough bone... on top of all my other issues my pain is now debilatating....
I thank dr Alvarez for all he has done and his assistant Alex they are wonderful. I feel so much better than i did before. It has transformed my life completely. The staff is also wonderful i recommend dr Alvarez 100 percent. Thank you.
Dr Alvarez di surgery on my herniated disk.. It was amazingly painless and healing time was minimal.. his staff was equally amazing..

Wish I could give a 0 rating. PLEASE do not waste time or money on this ‘person’... spent less than 2 minutes with me back in November. Found I have c spine stenosis and a frontal lobe brain tumor. I wanted his to realize how serious this is esp with the blacking our and trouble I have with balance and finding words. He ABSOLUTELY did not SIMPLY bc the one MRI needed a request from him and he made CLEAR he doesn’t do requests nor medication. However, there are times when we may not pursue treatment due to safety issues or a lack of appropriate records. Though they may want to treat quickly, all our neurosurgeons are required to review certain records before recommending any treatment plans. This is in the best interest of the patient. Our practice is happy to assist patients in acquiring everything they need and rescheduling.
