Dr Jaffe obviously is an expert that is very aware of the patients perspective and concerns. Made me totally at ease about the operation and his competence to do a great job.

I chose this doctor because my dad used him and had good results. I felt totally dismissed by him. I felt that he didn’t care about my issue. He did a ridiculous “test” to tell me my procedure would not be covered by insurance. I’m sure if I were on Medicare he would have wanted to do the procedure. After he left the room his nurse told me that even if my insurance approved the procedure that they could come back YEARS LATER and overrule the decision then I WOULD HAVE TO PAY BACK THE MONEY FOR THE PROCEDURE. Dr. Mark Jaffe and his staff were courteous and very nice. I felt comfortable and had all of my questions answered. He even returned to the room twice to answer my additional questions. My surgery is scheduled for next week and while I am somewhat nervous, I feel like I am in good hands. They have already prescribed my medications and my list of instructions was made very clear, which is important to me.
I was recommended to Dr. Jaffe by another well respected doctor, so I felt confident in my choice to proceed with surgery. The staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dr. Jaffe spent an excellent amount of time with me and asked if I wanted to know the mechanical part of the surgery. I did, so he spent time explaining each part of the procedure. He came back into the room three times to answer my additional questions. They were clear and upfront about my charges and options. I will have my surgery Nov 8th.
5 years ago Dr. Jaffe performed surgery on my right eye, blocked tear duct. The following year, my left eye developed the same issue and I knew he was the best surgeon for the surgery. He has a very light touch and extremely professional. Following those surgeries, I had no doubt about who would be doing my upper eye lift when needed.
