After purchasing 5 pairs of boots here in the last 10 years i can say I've made my last one. Last weekend i was hounded multiple times about a mask, which i cannot wear, and then treated like leper when i informed them. literally, they backed up from 6 to 10 ft away after my reply. i don't know where I'll buy my next 5 pairs of boots but I sure know where i won't!
Medically can’t wear a mask. Was greeted nicely by a gal, Went on shopping. Was in store 20 minutes then a lady comes up and asks if I want a mask. I was kinda shocked cuz I’d been in there for some time...I tell her I can’t wear one. I was told I couldn’t shop. Mind you I was in there shopping already for 20 minutes. I don’t have to explain my medical reasons! I left, I will shop elsewhere where I don’t have to explain myself and can keep my freedom, for the sake of my unborn baby and myself. Shame on this person.

If you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, all you needed to do was inform us, that is all. You made no mention of any medical-related reasons when asked if you needed a mask free of charge, you instead chose to leave. Our stance is very simple, we have to follow the executive order if we want to remain open, plain, and simple. Yes, it is your right to not give us a reason why you didn't have a mask, but please understand that it is our obligation to follow protocol if we want to remain open. Bought a pair of boots 3 months ago and wore them in 6 horse shows. Having issue with the sole ripping out. Spoke with Manager Kim, she advised that is not her problem. She will send them to the company to see what they may do about it but as for Jackson's Western Store they do not stand behind products they sell. I asked, is it not true that if something I bought from Meijer's is defective I can return the product for an exchange. That is customer service. She did not answer me she just hung up on.
From the moment I walked into the store, the staff were friendly and willing to help. I was looking for items that I could wear on stage at bars and not worry about getting scuffed or dirty (I'm a musician). They took the time to make sure I got the boots and hat that fit me best. Definitely a stop if you're looking for quality western wear. I will be returning for more merchandise in the near future!
