Why are people parading in red face and wigs...this is not acceptable.
This is unacceptable!! I believe this is ignorance at its best in Jackson Hole, WY!! What happen to divericity n pure culture for natives, are we that invisible to you all people that you can not ask some natives to be an a parade!! I swear, people are sooo bias!! Thats prejudicism for you!! Typical!!!!
I hope you all didn't think Western movies were real. Your portrayal of Native Americans is so messed up. You clearly show how racist you are and your not ashamed of it at all.
Your parade where you have white people dress up in redface is racist and culturally offensive. Either you replace the actors with REAL native Americans or stop the “tradition” at once.
I hope you will consider inviting actual local indigenous people to participate in your celebration. I also hope you will consider why the costumes are offensive and not just react defensively.
Wonderful place to visit. Everyone has been warm and friendly and made us feel like a part of the community.
