Dressing white people up as Indian people, or “red face,” is every bit as offensive and racist as “blackface” and needs to stop. Jackson Hole should apologize to the Tribes you are imitating.
Absolutely deplorable that your organizations rendering of the "Wild West Days," is virulently racist. Your organization should be ashamed of itself and your CEO or Executive Director should step down for being so dismissive. Culture Appropiation of Native Americans in the "Old West Days" Parade.
Disgusting!
Please stop with the fake "Indians" in your parade and elsewhere. It is offensive and rude to those of us who possess Native American heritage. We are not a costume, nor are our regalia for sale. The most offensive part of this is the woman who states that this is a "reenactment". Reenact with REAL Native Americans. There are millions of us. Many who work in movies or own horses and will gladly share our heritage with you so you don't have to have reddy mcredface on their horse pretending to be us.

I wrote to the Chamber of Commerce last year regarding the fake Indians and never received a reply, and I see there are so many that fee this same way I do and feel this is discriminatory!!!! Come on Jackson Hole BRING THE INTERTRIBAL DANCE TROUPE BACK FROM FT HALL!!!
After witnessing the cultural appropriation of Native Americans in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at your 'Old West Days Parade,' I felt obligated to confront the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce about your racism.
