Snotty bad time. Service was slow. Drinks were not great and our waitress never commented why we didn't drink them.

The smoked beef brisket with a over easy egg is amazing. One of our favorite brunch locations.
Recently attended with a party of 8 for dinner over Memorial Day weekend. We had two vegetarians in our party who were accommodated by chef Chris. All of us were satisfied with the quality of the appetizers (get the sampler), the food was excellent, the staff was courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere quite pleasant. Would recommend to anyone passing near Old Town Alexandria.
Came for lunch today. Two meals came out both with undercooked raw chicken. I also ordered ginger ale. After quite some time I asked where my drink was. I was informed that you had run out. No one had bothered to come and let us know. Very poor service and inedible food.
Food was not good. Restaurant charges upscale prices and restaurant is more like a bar. I will never return. Please save your money it is not worth it.
So I take a chance, step out and go to Jackson 20 and I'm seated, but no one would serve me. It didn't look like a racist/discriminating atmosphere, but who knows. I watched my waitress walk past me twice. Then when I stopped a guy and asked him who was the wait staff, I had to force him to point her out. When he finally did, I politely got up and walked out.
