Dr. Scariano is one of the worst doctors...he certainly isn't a worthwhile neurologist. My sister was going to him when we thought she had dementia...she was 62 years old and had lost all skills (reading, numbers, ability to do anything over 1 step, couldn't tell time, write name or remember where the garbage can was in the same room). He said it was "normal age related memory loss"...I left and never went back. All he did was order tests and then didn't tell you how they went. Beware. Diagnosis from another neurologist...gl... read more
Dr. Scariano has a wonderful personal and professional relationship with myself and my wife and daughter. He is very thorough, painstaking in his attention to meticulous details regarding my condition which has been difficult to pin down. As to specifics. It appears that I am afflicted with Parkinson's Disease and a series of tests have narrowed down my symptoms to many of those recognized as stemming from Parkinson's. Dr. Scariano quickly determined a course of treatments to help me cope.
Worst doctor I have seen. Told me husband drunk he in hospice 3 years later with dementia. Nurse did all the talking he set there with bottom lip down to his chin looking like drunk. I would not take anyone I loved to this man. He is not worthy I being called doctor maybe signing prescriptions only. The nurse had strong accent hard to understand she did diagnose . He just said the words he does not have Alzheimer’s he has drinking problem. I said it that all you have to say and walked out.
I have been going to Dr. Scariano’s since 2015. The wait time is long, but I would rather a doctor take the time to help me figure out what is going on with me than a doctor that treats his patient’s like cattle. I have had issues getting through on the phone in the past, but they have managed to get new management and it has really straightened out the functioning of the office. Much improved and I will highly recommend people see this man.
I have been a patient for 2 years and I love this practice. Mina the NP and Dr. Scariano are very thorough in their medical examinations and I have been amazed at the improvement I have had since I came here two years ago for treatment for my seizures. 10/10
Dr Scariano and his LPN are good at what they do. The problem is that person that is responsible for sending paperwork to insurance companies. Her name is Rebecca and she doesn't do her job. It took 3 months of me driving across town to get samples while waiting for her to make a 10 minute phone call to give my Insurance company a "PA" for my epilepsy medication. I switched doctors because they won't do anything about her incompetence and lack of concern for patients.
I would highly recommend Dr. Scariano to all my friends and family. He has helped in many ways since my fall in Jan of 2017. I have had many doctors since my accident, he is my third Neurologist and out of all of them he takes the time to actually listen to his patient. He has an open mind and more down to earth then other neurologist in his field. The first thing I noticed about him, he’s a caring man for his patents.
Horrible wait times Can’t get his employee to send paperwork to insurance company
Excellent at diagnosis and follow-up.
