About this business

If you're looking for a touch of class in Adams Morgan, stop at Jack Rose, a "saloon" featuring hand-selected scotches, bourbons and brandies in specialty, high-end cocktails. Enter on the first floor and find a full-service dining room, then make your way up to the private lounge, balcony and fireplace on the second floor. In the basement you'll find the "secret" Prohibition saloon, which requires a special knock to get in. Be sure to try drinks like "God of Thunder" and "Trailer Park Bride."

It's like the library in Beauty and the Beast, but better because it's whiskey!

Fantastic bourbon glazed wings app & excellent smoked grilled pork chop with various bourbon cocktails for dinner. Chris came by our table and made excellent recommendations for bourbons in our Old Fashions. Finished the evening at the upstairs bar where Denise proved amazingly adept with her knowledge and recommendations of rare and high end bourbons in a relaxing atmosphere - the end of an excellent experience.

The selection is beyond anything you could imagine, from a nearly 100 year old Rye, to a Macallan 37, to modern hard to find selections such as Parkers Heritage and Pappy Van Winkle, they have it all. I made the trip from RI on a long weekend specifically to come here and will gladly do so again in the future. Thank you Bill, Chris, Brittany, Ben, Christian, James, Meghan, Frank an... read more

What an amazing staff! Every single person we met was welcoming and knowledgeable. Felt like we were old friends. Our vacation made better than awesome with those we met and the whiskey we experienced!
