Dr. Cooper performed laparoscopic bilateral inguinal hernia repair on me on 29 September, 2017. I'm 80 and can't imagine the process going any better. The surgery was promptly scheduled, the pre-op fully explained what I should do before and after surgery, and the surgery was performed with little residual pain and no side effects. By the way, all the nurses who prepped me and assisted were very impressive and friendly. If you need inguinal hernia repair, I fully recommend Dr. Cooper.
He did the bare minimum, and after learning what happened I concluded that he wanted to get the surgery over with quickly. May have to have a repair, but it will not be from him. As a teacher, I would say his effort was the equivalent of a student knowingly turning in a C paper rather than going for an A. Perhaps competent but also unconcerned and not thorough or meticulous.
Dr Cooper is a wonderful surgeon and very professional. Made worries go away with his confidence in out come of procedure.
Had surgery on a Friday June 23, 2017 with several incisions. Called doctor's office on June 26th to complain about rashes and was told to use over the counter meds. I called back on June 28th still complaining about rashes & told to use another over the counter med. Called back a third time and finally got in almost 2 weeks after surgery to see about the rashes I have been experiencing. Very dissatisfied with the level of urgency to help me find some relief. Very poor post-op guidance & help
Absolutely one of the best doctors I've had and I'm not saying that just bc he saved my life. He's young, highly intelligent and put me to ease for a major surgery. I'm disabled and have seen many doctors. He's in my top three, no doubt. Even my mother loved him and she's never trusted doctors. He even approached the emotional side of surgery and hugged me when I cried. He also drew a picture of the surgery, signed and gave it to me (my request). Excellent surgeon w/an excellent bedside manner).
