I found Dr. Cooper to be kind, considerate, and compassionate. My experience at Baptist East was not planned--it was sort of an emergency. I had not met Dr. Cooper prior to the day of my surgery but I felt very comfortable with the fact that he would be doing it. After arriving at the hospital I heard nothing but good things about him. A good friend visited me the day before, and I learned he was the one who had done her surgery which was same as mine. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cooper.

Firstly, I am a retired laboratory professional who has spent most of my life in a hospital environment working with physicians. I can recognize a caring and highly experienced person. Dr. Cooper met with my husband and me, the patient, and immediately put my fears to rest. He completely outlined his procedures and defined the expectations of the surgery. I would recommend him to anyone! Wonderful surgeon and office staff. I’m blessed to have him as my physician.

Dr Jack Cooper is a kind courteous doctor. He was pleasant and I want to thank him for my care at Baptist East Day surgery.
I can’t say enough about my experience as a patient with Dr. Cooper. He spent the time needed to explain my procedure. The level of professionalism was the best. From start to finish, I received the best care. I highly recommend, Dr. Cooper and staff. Compassion and the best result from my surgery.
In May I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and was referred to a surgeon. After Dr. Cooper explained my condition and the danger of letting it go untreated, my family and I decided I should go ahead and have the surgery rather than possibly go in later as an emergency. On 7/24/17 I had Laparoscopic Paraesophageal Hernia Surgery at Baptist Hospital East. I had positive results with Dr. Cooper and think he is a good surgeon as well as being a kind caring doctor. I received outstanding care.
Dr. Cooper is an awesome physician!! He has a wonderful bedside manner and shows concern for all of his patients. He treated me with the utmost care and concern. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs surgery.
