First time to Jack Allen's, and we had Sunday brunch. So many options and all really tasty. Favorites were the grits and jambalaya. Great price as well! Will definitely come back again.
My wife had chicken fried pork chops. They were awesome. I had the chicken fried ribs, not so good. Alot of fat. A better quality rib would make that plate much better. Drinks were good but you can get 3x more drink for the same price at other establishments. Margaritas came in a very small glass. Guacamole was good and the pimento cheese is crazy good. The service needs some work. And appetizers should come before the main course.
Had the Ruby trout. Awesome!!! This restaurant never disappoints.

From the service to the plates to the drinks this place is Devine. Last night I had the Panco crusted stuffed portobello mushroom. I almost went back today for another. So good.
The service and the food were top notch . My new favorite place to eat in Round Rock. I love the whole farm to table idea . The food was very fresh and very well prepared .
We ate at Jack Allen's Kitchen last night. Our food was delicious. Our waiter was not on top of things. The main dish came out right after we got our salad. We sat on the enclosed porch, and they made sure we were comfortable when the heater had to be rebooted. I always get their trout, and Bill had the drum. Both were very good.
We always enjoy our meals there. Beware appetizers are a pretty large serving, big enough to share. I love the Twisted Cobb Salad, give it a try. Drinks from the bar are not watered down. You won't regret a meal at Jack Allens Kitchen.
My office had our Christmas luncheon there. Everything from the ambiance, service and food were great! Definitely keeping this place in rotation.
