Awesome experience as usual. This was our first time for the Sunday Brunch buffet and we were certainly not disappointed. I think I piled just about some of everything on my plate. The pork tenderloin was great. Mac and cheese was fantastic, especially with the hatch chili gravy. Migas were awesome. But the most outstanding items had to be the Tomato and Basil Pie and the Hummingbird Cupcakes with Cream Cheese icing. OMG!!! Great $4 Bloody Mary's and Pomegranate Sangrias, too. Always excellent service and food when we go. I love the green chili hamburger.
Food was excellent, as was the service. When three of our party of five were dissatisfied with their dishes, they were changed without ceremony and willingly. On behalf of those ladies I would only add that many of the dishes were spicy in ways that weren't expected...the coleslaw, the breading on the grilled chicken, and the Green Goddess dressing. Perhaps some way to denote spicy foods is needed?

With so many eating options in the greater Austin area, it's hard to find someplace you return to repeatedly when we visit. Jack Allen's is one of those places. Food and libations are superb and the service is friendly and attentive. Worth stopping just to try their homemade pimento cheese spread.
Good food and service, We will be going back as there are other things we want to try.

I love their Fancy Chicken Salad! It has a champagne vinaigrette! The wait staff is so kind and attentive! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!
Saturday night we ate our hearts out at Jack Allens with amazing company. One of those moments where you laugh so much you almost forget other people are in the room.
