I highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon recommended I see Dr. Shaver. She said as far as she was concerned, he was a top doctor in Knoxville for knees and shoulders. I found this to be the case. He helped me understand my issues and what I needed to do to take care of them. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr Shaver did right shoulder surgery repairing a tear in the rotary cuff along with cleaning up some arthritis. I have to say with all the surgeries shoulder surgery is by far the most uncomfortable and painful surgery. I was warned, but I thought with my high pain tolerance and past experience with knee replacements and other surgeries Dr Shaver has done I really was surprised.
