He originally told me I had 5 years to live. I went to Moffitt Cancer Center for a second opinion and they told me no, I could live the rest of my life with my leukemia and I would die of something else. 7 years later I am completely in treatment free remission. Also his bedside manner sucked.

Dr Percent told me I was terminal in 2017. It is now 2024 and I am still here! I did change Dr's though.

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Percent, as I usually do. He was in the office as I heard him talking to a patient in adjoining room. However, I was greeted by a Nurse Practitioner. No problem. I was under the impression I would see him after the Nurse Practitioner. Generally, my medications are gone over. I handed her my medication list and she did not want to see it which I thought was a bit “strange”.
