Been going here for the last 35 years and its STILL freaking amazing! When in Seattle I never miss stopping by. Even saw some of the same staff from last year, very nice, very personable! Picked up a 5 piece fish n chips and small chowder. Finished that off and went back for another 3 piece and small chowder!
This is usually a favorite date night location but our wait for food once we were seated was an hour and a half yesterday with no compensation from the server. Last nights date would be a 1 but more days it’s 4.
A Seattle institution! I love going there for Happy Hour which is 3 PM - close every day of the week. Great deals on their outstanding drinks and food and a view that can't be beat. Go to Ivar's Salmon House and as the late, great founder himself used to say, "KEEP CLAM". ;)
For a place more than half empty inside, service and kitchen were extremely slow. Well over 30 minutes for a few salads, a burger and some fish & chips? We sat inside for service. We’ll sit at the take out next time. Server very friendly. Of course, great views. Food was just okay.
Last visit was sooo much better, this time the fish and chips were disappointing.

Very slow service......spent a lot of $$$$.....has to ask for everything.....bread. Water. Tartar sauce...... all the food was great except for my entree: Cold mashed potatoes and greasy oysters cooked in dirty oil�
