One of many offshoots of the original Ivar's Acres of Clams, the Salmon House represents the Seattle institution's attempt at contemporary dining. We’ve been dining here for years. It’s one of our most favorite Happy Hour on the water spots. We love to get their oyster shooters, calamari, mussels, coconut shrimp, fish and chips, smoked salmon Caesar, knife and fork Blue cheese salad & on and on. We normally start with a nice HH Martini and then have a glass of wine or beer. We had excellent service tonight from Jésus.
I expected extraordinary food and it was ok. I’m glad the salmon had all that butter on it or it would have been dry and flavorless.

My wife and I were in Seattle for the afternoon and decided catch an early dinner at the Salmon house. Got seated a table by the window the view is great. Tried the smoked salmon chowder and both of us had the Salmon sampler. Which was delicious 3 types of Salmon. It was fun to compare the taste of the different salmons.
