IU Health has lost my business indefinitely. I’m usually seen up in Brownsburg but have not been happy with the service I’ve received ever since IU took over. I’m new to Mooresville and was wanting to give IU health another opportunity to be my PCP. While I’m sure the medical staff at this location are perfectly capable, but the 2 stars represent lack of answering the phone for a new patient appointment. This place really just charged a human being $2,400 to a person with no insurance.... for two total visits and a urine sample. (9 months after the fact with absolute 0 notice) I moved down here and needed a new doctor.... Ann Schmidt "Dr." took away a prescription medication I was taking for 10-15 years of my life... so I never returned. 8 months later, I get a letter in the mail from IU Health... stating I owe $2,400+ for providing insurance information that was invalid or incorrect?? Dr. Bernhardt is easily one of the most uncaring and unhelpful doctors. He doesn't care about you and he makes it extremely clear all he cares to do is to write you a script and get you leave so he can go back to gossiping about his patients instead of actually giving the care people need.
