Italia Bakery and Deli was started in 1971, by Philip and Maria Magnanimo and Benito and Gina DeGiosa. They kept the delicious bread recipe alive as we continue this tradition, baked daily from scratch on the premises. They also brought in traditional recipes from their homeland, Bari, Italy. Been coming here since I was a little girl. Still has the same awesome bread, sandwiches, cold cuts, cheese and cookies! When I walk in I inhail the familiar aromas and I am 7 years old again! Run don't walk to Italia and make it a family tradition you won't regret it!

Hands down a hidden gem found right next to Trader Joe's on San Fernando Mission and Balboa. Authentic Italian goodies with a family oriented business climate. I love the sandwiches and pasta here as well as the people that make them ��
Absolutely the best itlaian deli around. Their homemade rolls and imported meats are unreal. And dont forget to get some cannolis ��♛

Maria has the best deli anywhere, hands down. Freshest homemade breads and to die for imported deli meats and sausages. She's not stingy when it comes to portions either. If you are looking for an authentic Italian deli experience go no further than Italia Bakery and Deli. ~Tommy Lueck
