Italia Bakery and Deli was started in 1971, by Philip and Maria Magnanimo and Benito and Gina DeGiosa. They kept the delicious bread recipe alive as we continue this tradition, baked daily from scratch on the premises. They also brought in traditional recipes from their homeland, Bari, Italy. It’s been well over a decade since I worked here and every chance I get, I or my husband stop in for a sandwich and cold cuts to bring home.
