I've been driving between Virginia Beach and NJ for years, forever passing the sign on RT 13 for the Island Beach Restaurant but never stopping. Decided to finally give it a go and now upset with myself for letting all this time pass without eating here. The restaurant is incredible, the scenery is beautiful and the food was fantastic. The employees are wonderful and I would recommend this place to anyone. If you're driving on RT 13 and see the sign for the Island Beach Restaurant, take an hour or two and go.
Service is outstanding the food was amazing and that crab bisque soup is out of this world!

We come here every time we're in town. The food is excellent, the people are friendly, and the view is spectacular! This is our favorite spot on the Eastern Shore.
Had a great night. Clam chowder was delicious, sweet potato biscuit and fried shrimp. Could go on but just a great night with friends. Drinks were good too. You have to try the red thing.
