Love this beautiful small restaurant with excellent cuisine!!!
My husband and I just got married at the Celebration Cottage last weekend. I knew the food was going to be good, but they far exceeded our expectations. Every one of our guests said that it was not only the best wedding food they've had, but the best meal they've had period!! Last night we went in for dinner and some how got a table without reservations. We treated ourselves to another excellent meal. I am drooling just thinking about it. We will definitely make a point to visit the Island Grill every time we are in town!

Have been to IG many times and it's by far my favorite place at the beach. I like the informal atmosphere. The menu is relatively small but far better to have a smaller menu that's thoughtfully conceived and consistently executed. All the wait staff is good but we always ask if Laura is working. You won't get a plate of fried popcorn shrimp here; you can get that all up and down the beach. What you get at IG is far better, in many ways.

The food greatly exceeded our expectations from this small, local beach grill. We enjoyed tasty stuffed little neck clams, fresh "Carteret Catch" swordfish steak (it AND the chutney were amazing!), and smoked gouda grits with shrimp scallops. I found the woven-wicker bar stools uncomfortable for my skinny bottom, but that did not diminish our enthusiasm for the food. It was our first time and we will be back!
Awesome place, the shrimp & scallops and grits were delicious. Sword fish with chutney was awesome too!
A small place and the tables are rather crowded together but the food and service was excellent. I had the seafood linguini with shrimp, scallops, artichoke and would order it again.
This was an enjoyable brunch! The choices on the menu were wonderful & the blueberry cobbler was amazing❤️
