this facility was wonderful. i went to long island veterinary specialists with a very sick rat and they sent me to dr. hoefer. i wasn't able to call ahead of time but they took me right away. the staff was very sweet and you can tell that they genuinely care about animals. unfortunately i had to have my rattie girl euthanized. i had never had to euthanize a pet before, but dr. hoefer made a very difficult situation a little bit easier. she explained the process, asked if i wanted to be present, assured me that i was doing wh... read more
