I am a seasonal resident from Buffalo New York and I was so happy to find Dr. Maks! And, I will be back. I was able to get relief for the pain in my mouth and give me direction on fixing my teeth. He not only has a great personality, he’s very intelligent.
I brought my 5 yr old to Island Dental Spa for a cleaning and check up, where he was treated by Dr. Maks. Dr. Maks found a cavity in my son’s molar, which made my son pretty nervous! The Dr let me stay in the room the whole time, showed me the problem spot, educated my son on proper brushing and the importance of flossing (which he has been doing every day since!). Dr. de la Riva and his staff at Island Dental Spa took very good care of me. They saw me promptly and addressed my concerns - being able to get a high quality crown in the same day was a great experience. I broke my molar and all was done and beautiful in 2 hours.
