We spend quite a bit of time each year in Islamorada. I can honestly say, we eat at Shrimp Shack again and again and again because simply no other restaurants even come close to its awesomeness!!! All items are amazing, the portions fabulous and the staff is so nice. We have eaten here probably 10 times and nothings comes close in comparison. LOVE LOVE LOVE PS Guy the food critic even raves about this place!!!! Shrimp Fritters are fab and so is the coconut fried mahi-mahi
Went to the bar area while waiting to be seated. Bartender cleared the bar from the customers prior to us and then left the bar. She did not ask us what we would like to drink for nearly 10 minutes. Once seated, food was okay. Service was just terrible all night.... bummer because this was our last night on vacation. We drove over 30 minutes to the Shrimp Shack because we saw this restaurant on TV.
Delightful meal, loved it! Wonderful server Angela, made our dinner special.
I am in need of the shrimp n grits again.....lol The BEST I have ever had!!

Those shrimp & grits are no joke. Shrimp fritters are yummy too. Good stop for a road trip.
Wife and I Went for 1st Time. On Vacation from Miami...I Ordered Burger Rare. Burger Came to My Table Medium Rare to Medium.. I sent Burger Back.. Second Time, Burger was Done Right and Very Good. I Had Rack of Babyback Ribs.. Ribs were Tasty, But Very Small Rack and Not Much Meat and Would Not Order Again.. Wife had Sirlion Steak 10 Oz. Steak She Ordered Medium Rare...Steak Looked Great Grilled to Perfection but Steak Had Not Much of a Flavor and was Very Chewy Because the Quality Of Meat was Not Very Good....
