We’ve been coming to the keys for years but only made it to the shrimp shack last year.... we will be coming back for sure!!! Great food....
Service was great and served up generously with great big smiles. My boyfriend had the alligator and it was fantastic, I had the Shrimp basket done shack style (it too was great) with a side of onion straws that quite literally would melt in your mouth and served with a pina colada dipping sauce for the fish, there aren’t words to describe this dip! Would definitely make this a weekly stop but flying from Canada every week would kinda make it pricey!
Experience was "ok". Food was ok. Service was ok. Nothing exceptional. I have had better food and service in Islamorada. I don't think I will be back.
Really busy but we had excellent service and the food was very, very good. My wife had shrimp with a tomato and basil cream sauce with angel hair pasta, I had shrimp and grits with a peppery Cajun cream sauce. Complimentary (and great) banana bread and mini sweet rolls, superb smoked fish dip starter and the ubiquitous and very good key lime pie for dessert. Top value too. Will definitely be back!
