Islamorada Shrimp Shack...our second time here...last year we swung by for appetizers. This year we stopped in for an actual dinner and the snapper done up "senator" style has got to be the best fish dinner I've ever had! Terri's steak rivaled that of any we've had back home in "beef country" too! Another TripleD standout! These guys got hit pretty hard during Irma and they were out feeding the workers who were in the area cleaning up during the aftermath � awesome people!
Service was outstanding and the food was even better. Conch po’ boy was tender and well-portioned. My wife had the soft-shell crab and it was in her words “best. meal. ever.” Hyperbole aside, Felt like a good old fashioned Keys joint-no pretense-good times!!
The shrimp fritters and bacon wrapped shrimp are a must! The key line pie martini is also a winner. If you're in Islamorada you HAVE to stop in for some grub and a drink.
Service was awful food was mediocre at best. The shrimp sucked for a place called the shrimp shack. I will not be going back.
