RecommendedHad a very good lunch today at the Shrimp Shack, Islamorada. 1) 9 piece (lunch portion) Shrimp Basket with Sweet Potato fries. 2) Shrimp & Grits (lunch portion) Coming back soon.
Had the Shrimp Fritters for starters. Outstanding. We then had the Shrimp and Grits and Senator Fish platter. Both excellent; the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. Super friendly service!
I been there 2 times and both times the ladies there aren’t that friendly!! Definitely NOT a kid friendly place!!!!

Very unprofessional and food was terrible
The owner Jill Jahn called me and my entire family “trash” and told us to “Go back to Miami.” The incident all started when the waitress brought us a single check that was supposed to be split 3 ways. No big deal right? That’s what we thought. We simply asked for it to be split and walked up to the hostess, who then called the owner over for help. The owner came over with an instant attitude and told us they could not split the bill after it had already been printed, and we “should’ve said something ahead of time.” Annoyed I... read more

Unbelievable service and the food was fantastic. Shrimp and grits the best. I have been in the Keys multiple times and wish I found this earlier.
