I'm not going to take a long time to write a review. I'll just say, if you know about this place and you dont go, you are absolutely crazy!
My parents went to this restaurant in the 50s and I go whenever I am in the Dells. There is just no place like it for the magnificent atmosphere and top notch service. The only thing needed is at least ONE menu selection for vegetarians! Please!
Quality of the food seems to have Wained. First time since 2012 that I had questionable steak and lobster. We’ve been coming here since then for our wedding anniversary. Steak was not done as ordered and tough. Lobster tails were also overcooked. For $109, I would expect nothing but perfection as we have had in the last five or six years. Service was impeccable and attentive as usual.
For the past few years moving to Chicago from the west coast we always comes to the dells during summer and it’s not complete if we don’t visit the Ishnala. We love the foods and the ambiance. This restaurant is different from other restaurants that I’ve been. The sorrounding is so peaceful and breathtaking. Until next year!

The bartenders was chewing gum, the other bar tender was rude. We waited 11/2 hours for a table. Ok, that is ok, they are busy! My lobster was great but my husbands steak was chewy, a ribeye.
Dinner at Ishnala was a great experience. The lake and surrounding grounds are beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the beach area where they could dip their toes in the water. The food and service were both top notch. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the desserts were delicious. I would definitely recommend Ishnala if you’re visiting Wisconsin Dells.

Great atmosphere, good prime rib, great service. VERY OVERPRICED because it is in a tourist ares
Had a 20-30 minute wait, but it was probably just 5 minutes and was taken to our table. Beautiful views from our table. Took my wife here for our anniversary and the food was fantastic (30 day aged ribeye and the prime rib). Could’ve had a bigger section of drinks, but we found something we both liked. Great experience.
