My favorite restaurant in the whole world! The atmosphere here is absolutely unbeatable! No reservations= come before you’re hungry so you can have a drink while you wait at one of three bars, all with amazing views of sunset over beautiful Mirror Lake. I have been coming here almost annually for the past 30 years. Frank Sinatra-type music, signature cocktails, excellent steak, fresh salads, delectable sides, best escargot I’ve ever had. Dazzling location, not to be missed! Food and drink are top notch. Portions are huge, so bring your appetite or share with a friend. Upgrade to Wollersheim brandy from Korbel in your old fashioned.

Love this nook in the woods. Reconnected again as I hadn't been there in over 10 years and remember from when I was a kid. I'm in love. The cozy, woodsy look still appeals to me. The Old Fashioneds are the star of the show - must have. There don't take reservations, but there's plenty of exploring to do with at least three bars and grounds to explore including a dock and beachy area. There's a separate gift cabin to check out. After many trips to the dells this was our first time at Ishnala.....simply amazing from the moment we approached the property till we left everything was perfect. Delish food, friendly and professional staff...it’s like a step back in time....love the setting and the Sinatra music...hope to come back to the dells next year and this will be the top of our list for things to do.
