I paid for my root canals out of pocket while my insurance covered the crowns. Irving Park Family Dental did not listen to me when they fit my crown mold when I told them that it protruded too far out and that I was pinching my cheek. They told ME that it'll fit. Even after my crown installation, I told them it pinches my cheek. They told me my mouth is swollen and when it returns to normal, that it won't pinch. They assured me that my bite, their sizing, and the crown would all be normal functioning in a few days. Here I am months later and because of the crowns protrusion I bite the inside of my cheek every other day. It's a miserable and extremely painful eating experience every single day. I'm incredibly unhappy with their work. I traded root canal infections for a shoddy patch-up with no follow-through that reopens a wound every time I eat. It feels like a stupid investment that I made in desperation because of my root canal pain, on my part. I wish I picked another place. During the crown fittings and after, I felt humiliated, degraded, and punished. I deeply regret giving them my business. Every day.
