Superb Seafood – What a refreshing place to eat. The dinner menu was informative and delightful. Our waiter, Huey, was efficient and entertaining. We ordered the grouper and it was the most delectable seafood we have enjoyed in many visits.
Booooooo!!!! – The portions of food were minimal at best. I ordered a Greek Tart for lunch ($7.85). When it came to the table it was two strips of Philo with a salad on top. Tart what tart?? The worst part about it was the salad was the same size as my friends side salad. When I asked the waiter and manager about it they did not seem to care. The taste of the salad was good but how hard it it to make a salad and call it a "Tart"?
Needs work – I'm afraid the last two times I've gone, I've been quite disappointed with this restaurant. The food is generally average, with very small portions. You're money will be much better spent elsewere.
Str8 9's – 9 for food, ambience, service, value & overall...enough said because there's not much else most ppl need to know about this place.
Raleigh's Best – I have tried the Irregardless Cafe for brunch, lunch, and dinner. I can't decide which is the best. They were all great. The portions are generous and food is orginial and delicious. I even think of the meal for day afterwards. The lemon-tahini dressing is wonderful. I purchase some for home and be without. I highly recommend the Irregardless for a lazy Sunday Brunch. Great food, strange atmosphere – We were given a gift certificate to Irregardless. We found the atmosphere a bit strange and dated, but the food was great. Our waiter was quite flamboyant, but very helpful and accommodating. He was sooo right about having the balsamic vinagrette on the salad. The salads were great! I crave them now. He split our meal in the kitchen, too, which was very nice.
