Good vegetarian choice – I have dined here on two different occasions, once for brunch and once for a birthday dinner. I will say I had an enjoyable experience each time. They do include more than the single obligatory pasta and sauce dish on their menu and as a vegetarian it's always nice to eat out and not feel like I'm on the fringes of society. Awesome! – My husband and I LOVE Irregardless! We loved this place for years, had our rehersal dinner there, and eat there every year on our anniversary...in addition to the many many other times a year we eat there. The food is always fresh and extremely delicious! I've never had a bad meal there. The reviews that say the Irregardless is less than perfection are just NUTTY!
I want to like this place, but... – Yep. After years of living in Raleigh, it suddenly came to my attention that I had never ventured towards the Irregardless cafe. How had this happened? Imagine living in NYC for years and never going to a broadway show, or the East Village for shopping, or ever actually looking skyward...this is how I felt. Anniversary time came and hopes were high. Avoid @ all cost – I had a mushroom crepe at this restaurant that was absolutely inedible. My date's dish was ok, but not great. The tables were close to together and the restaurant was fairly loud. I went to this restaurant because of the high rating and was very disappointed.
Perfect Place for a Romantic Dinner – Before going to Irregardless, I submitted a reservation request via their website, I got a quick reply/reservation - from the owner/chef, who also sent us a coupon for a free bottle of wine in celebration of our anniversary. The server was extra curteous. The food was delicious! The restaurant even had a jazz band. The food pricing was reasonable. The chef owner and staff know the meaning of great customer servous, definitely give them a try!
So-so – I used to love the Irregardless before the fire... something was missing when it reopened. I still go from time-to-time with groups and am consistently disappointed. I'm vegetarian but the vegetarian selection is either too typical (bean burgers? hummus?) or too far off my palate (mexican lasagna, vegan shepards pie... gimicks, not gourmet). great food – Eating at the Irregardless is a wonderful experience. The food is great, salads supreme and the desserts are to die for. Our service has always been impeccable. Be sure to go---often.

Irregardless consistently offers a variety of well-prepared, creative dishes, and, remarkably, they change all the entrees daily. don't ever go here! – i had the worst experience i have ever had at a restaraunt. i ordered the tenderloin and it was so bad that i couldn't even eat it. my date and i tried to talk to the owner and he was very rude and refused to accept that it was not good. we paid $17 for a side of bland mashed potatoes. i will never go back and would never recommend this to anyone.
