So-so – I used to love the Irregardless before the fire... something was missing when it reopened. I still go from time-to-time with groups and am consistently disappointed. I'm vegetarian but the vegetarian selection is either too typical (bean burgers? hummus?) or too far off my palate (mexican lasagna, vegan shepards pie... gimicks, not gourmet). great food – Eating at the Irregardless is a wonderful experience. The food is great, salads supreme and the desserts are to die for. Our service has always been impeccable. Be sure to go---often.

Irregardless consistently offers a variety of well-prepared, creative dishes, and, remarkably, they change all the entrees daily. don't ever go here! – i had the worst experience i have ever had at a restaraunt. i ordered the tenderloin and it was so bad that i couldn't even eat it. my date and i tried to talk to the owner and he was very rude and refused to accept that it was not good. we paid $17 for a side of bland mashed potatoes. i will never go back and would never recommend this to anyone.
Food and service - 'gone south' – Good-bye to Irregardless - this was 'restaurant-of-choice' for many of us,, but not any more. Management clearly doesn't care about customers anymore. Food, service and attitude has gone downhill. Sorry to see you go. We spread the word when you were good and we'll spread the word now that you've changed.
Lovely Evening – We made e-reservations, and were greeted warmly regarding our anniversary celebration. The staff was warm, polite and accommodating. Our palates confirmed the daily menu consists of the freshest ingredients--especially in the vegetables and seafood. We shared an appetizer and a salad, so we could not quite finish every last bite of our entrees, though we wished we could. The preparation and cooking time appeared perfect and unpretentious. Not so good – The portions of food were small and did not have the taste for the price. I found my dish to be quite bland, and my date was not very impressed with her meal. Service was soso, but the live music was nice. I would be willing to give the place another try. Perhaps a different menu selection and another day would would lead a more satisfactory experience.
Not impressed – having read all the rave reviews on citysearch, my group was anxious to give it a try one day for lunch. we were disappointed. the service was slow and unapologetic, they were out of everything and the food we did get was not that good. very disappointing.
Great! Great! Great! – To me, this restaurant has proven to be a true gem of the Triangle. The service is absolutely impeccable. Dinners have been excellent with portions that will definitely fulfill any hunger. Atmosphere wise Irregardless has plenty to go around. Its very quaint with a rustic touch. You dining experience is filled with color. The live music is also a very nice touch.
