If I could give 0 stars I would. I was a resident of an Avenue5 property, Keeler's Corner in Lynnwood WA, and I recently received an email stating that my former roommates and I collectively owe about $1260 in move out costs and "damages", with a large amount being for carpet replacement. The carpet was damaged when we took possession of the unit, this was documented in the inspection, and it was promised that upon our move out that the carpets would be replaced due to their poor condition. Ive lived in many different apartments, Metro at Main in Corona CA is by far the worst. It may look like luxury apartments from the outside, but let me tell you how it really is. When you build "luxury apartments" in an area where there is a lot of crime you would think that they would hire great security? NO. Short and Sweet. I live in Denver, Co. Letter from Health Dept no hot water for 3 months. Letter from Health Dept due to sewage coming out of my Dishwasher. Letter from Plumber saying they were told of issue 3 years ago and didnt want to pay to fix it. Literally do not live here unless you want to pay thousands in fines. It’s obvious that there are times when they’re meeting goals or something because the fines come out of no where and make no sense. Then, if you don’t pay right away they call and call. After moving out months ago today I was notified of an over $1,000 bill with no explanation as to why....during a recession and pandemic. COOL. Terrible company, and with all of these other reviewers, I am not alone. My problem is with the **********, which is one of Avenue5's apartments. 1) First of all there is an excessive amount of black mold around the apartment. 2) They are very reluctant to help with noisy neighbors, and charge excessive fees to move units. 3) They raise the rent excessively every year. 4) They do not respect military clause in their lease, I ended up having to live their a few months vacant due no help. 5) They charge unwarranted fees upon m... read more

This company recently purchased a property that I was already living in. I tested positive for Covid-19. I did the responsible thing and came home and quarantined. My car was parked in a legal public parking spot at the complex. The property had my car towed. It cost me $178 to get my car back. Now the manager is sending the office staff to argue with me about reimbursing me the money. Since they wrongfully towed my car. The manager is spineless and won't even talk with me about the situation.

I agree with Bradie A ! I am a tenant at Kent Place of 5 1/2 years now and agree with numerous other tenants with her complete post on Kent Place Properties on the BBB site. Since this letter to BBB was written numerous tenants were written a letter by Avenue 5's Legal counsel demanding that we Cease hostile communication with Avenue 5 management, owners, investors etc..
