I called my pharmacy on Tuesday, and then again this morning to request a refill of my prescription. The pharmacy stated that they have been waiting on approval from your office since Tuesday to fill the prescription. I spoke with someone in the WDM office this afternoon after calling back a third time and they said they would get the doctor's approval today and get that taken care of, as I am now about to run out of my medication. Unfortunately, I have worked with Iowa Sleep in many different aspects. The staff is always unfriendly. The phones go unanswered for days on end. Voicemails never get returned. Management does NOT care about complaints or if patients are cared for they only care about making money. Staff tries to force them to go to DME company that is associated directly with Iowa Sleep even when they are adamant about not wanting to. Jessica Lynn Jones was very rude to my wife on the phone when asking for directions so we decided to take our business elsewhere absolutely rude and horrible
I have never experienced a Doctors office run as poorly as this one. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Hung up twice when trying to schedule the sleep study Dr ordered. The Doctor was knowledgeable and thorough but the lack of staff skills and knowledge would lead me to advise others to avoid this office. Don`t waste your money to see the doctor it will not lead to a positive experience.
The nurse at the Ankeny clinic never answers the phone. Called to re-fill an easy prescription a week before my son ran out of medicine. Tried calling multiple times, no answer. It took the nurse a day and a half to get back to me. The nurse said she called the pharmacy and we could pickup the medication. Waited 40 min at the pharmacy and no prescription was called in. Iowa Sleep Center is only after your money. I had an appointment at 8:40 and showed up at 8:48. I was told that I would have to come back because they were to busy. AKA overbooked. I tried to tell them that my wife fell and I had to help her and that was why I was late. Also I had taken time off work to make this appointment. Didn't matter they were to busy for me. I canceled my appointment and won't be back. I'll find a place the cares about me and not my money.
RecommendedFriendly, efficient, professional staff… Always a positive experience here.
