Food was great. Wait staff great. Great seating by the window watching the river.

I have enjoyed resturant for many years..been out of state awhile so I wasn't sure it remained..my wife and i considered it our place primerib for me beef tenderloin for her..from Cedar Rapids but we never thought twice about drive..my opinion top ten in eastern Iowa hands down
Normally, very pleased here with our meals. One sirloin ordered medium came rare. Sent back and returned charred and medium. A filet ordered medium rare came rare. Still charged full price, and no more than four bites were taken from the sirloin. Wasn't very pleased.
It was EXACTLY the same as every time I've been there in the last ten years. Thats why we love it. It's a phenomenal brunch in a fantastic place to eat.
The Sunday Brunch was outstanding as was the service! My daughter has a food allergy and they went above and beyond to accommodate her. I highly recommend Iowa River Power Restaurant for anyone visiting Iowa City!
