Service was great with Mike, our waiter and so was the glazed Chop and veggies. My son had some out of this word delicious rigatoni Mac and Cheese that he really liked. Also Mike brought out a complementary fresh fruit plate that also was a great snack before dinner.
Fantastic lunch! The Cajun prime rib sandwich is the best.
Well there really was not much on the buffet that I thought "wow this food is amazing". The chocolate cake was crazy dry, tasted like it was frozen and thawed. The carved means were blah I thought. The eggs I believe were powdered to begin with (not 100% sure but they stated blah and watery) and not tasty. Bacon was burnt and stuck together and barley warm. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is great.
The Iowa River Power restaurant is always good, and last night was no exception. Excellent service and delicious food. It was my daughter's birthday and they brought her a beautiful dessert. Love that it has changed hands several times over the years, but everything stays consistent. This place is a landmark.
Great atmosphere! Went for anniversary dinner, very impressed! We will be back!
