My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here last night and everything was wonderful! This was our 1st time here and I'm so glad he decided to bring me. Steak and Prime Rib were perfect as well as our appetizers. We went for a walk over the damn after...very beautiful evening. Thank You!
Our meal and service was excellent my only complaint was how cold it was in there
We drove from Des Moines to have dinner with a very special lady for her birthday last night. Will was awesome and very attentive to be sure everything was perfect. Thank you to all the staff for the very delicious and memorable dining experience!

Not the best prime rib was pretty tough service is great, think I'll try another place for my 40th anniversary. Wife steak was overdone and also tough. The salad and calamari we're great but pretty disappointed with the main meal.
My wife and I ate here for the first time last night, my boss told me about it so we thought we'd go for a drive and try it out. The atmosphere is great, the river scenery is awesome and our server Michael was outstanding, definitely worth the two hour drive, will be coming back.
A little tired and dated, the location on the river is the star but unfortunately they're not capitalizing on it. Food was meh and service was barely ok.
This place is amazing!! Just as good as it was 10-12 years ago when we were there! If you can get a table with a "river view", it is fantastic! We had stuffed mushrooms and spinach & artichoke dip for appetizers that were so delicious and the prime rib was the best I've had in a long time!! Everyone with our party said their meal was excellent! Kudos to the chefs and owners of Iowa River and Power Restaurant! I highly recommend you visit here!! It is on the pricey side, but totally worth it!!!
