I am currently you a patients at the downtown hospital. My resident won’t respond to pages. My nurse can’t get her to answer a page. She changed a long time medication, and refuses to explain why. Dr. Fauzia Ullah. Guess that’s what when you go to a hardly rated hospital, and deal with bottom on their class doctors 1:46, am still wide awake. Still nothing to make me sleep. The nurses have been great.here is the one ignoring me.
Surprised to be told that it would be 12-18 months before a new patient could be seen. The patient has been seen by the clinic in the past. Also the clinic does accept Medicare but doesn't know if they belong to Amerigroup or United Healthcare. Not acceptable in either case.
I swear I will never go to unity point for anything again. I made an appointment and waited a month to get here, in that time I called TWICE to make sure and confirm my appointment and today I'm here now and they told me my appointment is tomorrow. The reason why I double checked it because this has happened before. Now I have to make crazy arrangements for work, and if that doesn't happen I will have to wait yet another month to be seen.
RecommendedThe convenience of all the clinics in and around Des Moines, Iowa. Its so nice to get in to see someone and take care of our needs. I've been very happy and I think my doc likes it when I have issues to see about those issues right away and not let them accumulate for years before I do something about it. Dr. Shahid deserves a shout out for taking care of me and all my health issues and keeping me healthy and feeling happy.
Amazing place to receive care and have a career! 21 years and many more in my future.

MY EXPERIENCE IS IM HOMELESS AND WAS FORCED TO LEAVE IN THESE FREEZING COLD TEMPERATURES I WAS NOT BOTHERING ANYONE THERE WAS NOONE IN LOBBY WAITING FOR A SEAT THE SECURITY GUARDS WERE SO RUDE AND IGNORANT TO THERE JOB ASKED IF I EVER BEEN ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING HELL NO IM SITTING HERE FOR HOUR TRYING TO WARM UP AND THIS IS HOW WE ARE TREATING PEOPLE HELL NO

Excellent place for care. My husband was a patient there and got the best care possible by caring, compassionate Drs and Nursing staff until he passed away.
I have had a doctor for over 30 years retire at the end of last year and since then the WDSM Mills Civic UnityPoint location has gone down hill. From the horrible staff at the front desk, to waiting 25 minutes to even get an answer when you call in, to a new doctor that can’t see me for weeks and won’t refill my medication until the see me. It’s sad to say I will be leaving the UnityPoint group to find another provider who has time for me!!!
